Annual Antique Boat & Marine Engine Show & Solomons Maritime Festival

Calvert Marine Museum. Saturday: 10am - 5pm / Sunday: 10am - 3pm.
The Solomons Maritime Festival comes alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of Southern Maryland traditions. Taste traditional foods, enjoy local gospel and old time music, hear world class water fowl calling, see Chesapeake Bay retriever trials in action, watch model boats skim the waters of the boat basin, watch traditional crafts people demonstrate their skills. For the kids, there will be traditional games, races, ice cream making, toy boat building and more.

Zahniser's Spring Gathering Day

Finally! The new boating season must be here! Zahniser's will celebrate the warm weather in usual fashion, with the opening of the Pool and Pool Bar Café'. ZYC Slip-holders, their families, and employees are invited to join us from 2:00 - 4:00 for live music, snacks and drinks on the pool patio. Coast Guard Courtesy Inspections will be offered throughout the day.

Southern Maryland Sailing Association Luau

ZYC & SMSA co-sponsor a hillside gathering for SMSA members and their guests. Enjoy an afternoon of socializing, food, and music beginning at 4:00 pm. If you are interested in joining SMSA or thinking about getting involved in racing, this is a great opportunity to stop by and meet club members. The event is held in conjunction with the Women's Spring Series Races.

Annmarie Garden - The Annual Tobacco Trail Antique & Classic Car Meet

From 10am - 2pm. This is the main event of the National Capital Region Antique Automobile Club of America. The meet showcases 200 plus antique and classic cars. There will be food and fun for all! Regular admission fees apply.

Solomons Fireworks

The annual Solomons fireworks display will be held on Sunday, July 4th. Fireworks will be shot from a barge in the Patuxent River and can be enjoyed from the Riverwalk or by boat! Music & Food vendors. In the event of rain on July 4th, the display will take place on Monday, July 5th.

The Solomons Island Invitational - an Annapolis to Solomons Regatta

Sponsored by The Eastport Yacht Club of Annapolis. On Friday evening, over 100 sailboats will depart from the Severn River and race to Solomons.

Screwpile Lighthouse Challenge

This annual event is known as one of the best regattas in the country, sponsored by Southern Maryland Sailing Association (SMSA) and Mount Gay Rum. Captains and crew will test their skills on the Chesapeake Bay with three days of around the buoys racing. After racing festivities will be held at Holiday Inn Select each evening.

Annmarie Garden - Garden in Lights

Held from 6:00pm - 9:00pm nightly. Enjoy a whimsical walk through a holiday light display filled with one of a kind light sculptures that are custom created by the staff at the Garden. Garden in Lights will include golf cart tours, pet night, and special discount nights for the military, public safety workers, and teachers.
