Annual Antique Boat & Marine Engine Show & Solomons Maritime Festival
Calvert Marine Museum.  10am – 5pm    The event includes The Antique Boat and Marine Engine Show which features exhibits from over 30 collectors of antique and classic boats. Taste traditional foods, learn how to pick crabs and shuck oysters, enjoy live music, hear world class water fowl calling, watch model boats, talk with traditional crafts people as they demonstrate their skills. For the kids, there will be traditional games, races, toy boat building and more.

Annmarie Antique & Flea Faire
Held at Annmarie Garden from  9am – 3pm,   this new event promises to be a fabulous Pickers weekend.  Browse 150 indoor and outdoor booths featuring antiques & collectibles, vintage & up-cycled furniture, clothing, jewelry, flea finds, and much more. Zahniser’s Spring Gathering Day
The 2016 boating season is here! ZYC will celebrate the warm weather in usual fashion, with the opening of the Pool and Pool Bar Café’.  ZYC Slip-holders, their families, and employees are invited to join us from 2:00 – 4:00 for live music, snacks and drinks on the pool patio.  Coast Guard Courtesy Inspections will be offered throughout the day.

24th Annual Screwpile Lighthouse Challenge
This annual event is known as one of the best regattas in the country, sponsored by Southern Maryland Sailing Association (SMSA) and Mount Gay Rum.  Captains and crew will test their skills on the Chesapeake Bay with three days of around the buoys racing.  For more information visit Screwpile’s website at www.screwpile.net

4th Annual Warrior Fun Run & Sail hosted by the Patuxent Habitat for Humanity in partnership with The Navy Pax River Chiefs will benefit Southern Maryland military veterans and wounded warriors.  The event, held on Solomons Island, includes a 5K Fun Run, a 3K Fun Walk, a Boat Parade, and a Regatta.
