Randy Gross is Zahniser's varnisher extraordinare. A carefully kept clientele of repeat customers keep Randy busy 52 weeks of the year doing nothing but varnishing. Zahniser's is proud to have an artisan of Randy's caliber on our staff.

Carriel, Frank Shaw's Herreshoff Diddikai was built by Zahniser's in 1981, finished bright. Her original finish, maintained annually, lasted until the winter of 96/97 when she was stripped and refinished. This picture is of her in the March of '97 awaiting restepping of her masts.
